About You

Our customer, one of the world’s largest and most innovative companies, is looking for a thoughtful, highly skilled Valuation & Modeling Expert to join their team. You enjoy diving deep into numbers, building clear, reliable models, and translating complexity into insights that drive big decisions. In this role, you’ll be a key partner to the investment team—helping shape important transactions and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine advanced valuation models, including DCF with WACC, trading comparables, and precedent transaction analyses.
• Build and maintain integrated 3-statement financial models, operating models, and 13-week cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
• Design deal models such as LBO, merger (base version), and accretion/dilution to evaluate transaction impact.
• Create and customize industry-specific models, including sale-leaseback, REIT conversion, and NAV models.
• Lead bespoke transaction modeling for complex scenarios such as RMT, spins/carve-outs, IP licensing, and more.
• Perform advanced due diligence with deep dives into specialized verticals, including unit economics and cohort trend analyses.
• Clearly communicate your findings and recommendations—both in writing and verbally—to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, growth equity, corporate development, or strategic finance at tier-1 U.S. companies or Fortune 500 firms.
• Strong expertise in core valuation methodologies and financial modeling fundamentals.
• Hands-on proficiency in deal modeling (LBO, merger, accretion/dilution) and industry-specific models.
• Proven experience managing bespoke, complex transaction analyses and due diligence processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and a solid financial analysis toolkit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Combined experience across top-tier investment banking and leading buy-side firms.
• Track record leading advanced transaction structuring (spin-outs, carve-outs, IP licensing).
• MBA or relevant graduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
