Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Soil Science, Plant Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in crop breeding, physiology, soil composition analysis, or plant management research.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts both in writing and verbally.
  • Demonstrated expertise in classifying and mapping soils, studying growth conditions, and evaluating the impact of agricultural practices.
  • Familiarity with integrated pest management and crop productivity studies.
  • Keen attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data validation and review.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects or with data science/AI teams.
  • Previous work as an Agronomist, Plant Physiologist, Research Soil Scientist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI technologies in agricultural science.
