Role Overview: Senior UI/UX Designer

micro1 is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong passion for clarity, exceptional usability, and creating aesthetically pleasing interfaces. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the entire design process for key product surfaces, from initial discovery and user flow mapping to the creation of high-fidelity UI. You will collaborate extensively with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver world-class user experiences.

This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who can execute with precision and elevate the overall design standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product design from concept through execution across various web platforms.
• Translate intricate workflows into intuitive and straightforward user experiences.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Maintain and continuously evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation.
• Conduct usability testing and integrate user feedback into design iterations.
• Act as a strong advocate for the user throughout product and roadmap discussions.
• Ensure all designs are accessible, performant, and consistent with the micro1 brand identity.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX or Product Design, specifically for web products.
• Profound expertise in Figma, including components, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking.
• Excellent grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex SaaS or B2B products.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to pixel-perfect execution.
• Comfort and adaptability when working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience in building or scaling a design system.
• Familiarity with frontend constraints, including React, CSS, and responsive layouts.
• Previous experience working with AI or developer-focused products.
