Paralegal and Legal Assistant - AI Trainer at micro1
Join our customer's team as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant - AI Trainer, shaping the future of legal technology by leveraging your legal expertise to train cutting-edge AI models. You will play a vital role in bridging legal processes and artificial intelligence, ensuring accuracy, context, and clarity in the development of next-generation legal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and annotate legal documents to inform and enhance AI model understanding.
- Investigate case facts, analyze public records, and research legal precedents to provide context for AI training.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and legal professionals to refine data sets and ensure legal accuracy.
- Prepare affidavits, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents for model training and quality control.
- Organize and maintain electronic legal files to support ongoing model development.
- Participate in user testing and provide feedback on AI model performance, targeting continual improvement.
- Communicate insights and findings clearly in both written and verbal form with technical and non-technical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar legal support role (e.g., Litigation Paralegal, Real Estate Paralegal, Legal Analyst).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing legal documents such as affidavits, contracts, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and synthesize findings effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with electronic legal filing systems.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated interest in legal technology and innovation.
