Join our customer's team as a Nuclear Technician - AI Trainer and play a critical role in shaping the future of AI within the nuclear industry. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will leverage your expertise to train AI models, ensuring accuracy and relevance in nuclear operations, laboratory work, power generation, and radiation monitoring scenarios. This position offers the unique opportunity to impact next-generation technology from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AI product teams to provide nuclear domain expertise for training and enhancing AI models.
  • Develop, review, and refine AI training materials aligned with nuclear operations and safety protocols.
  • Operate, maintain, and advise on nuclear testing and research equipment in training contexts.
  • Offer guidance and quality control in validating AI-generated outputs related to nuclear technology.
  • Monitor and assess AI model performance in radiation monitoring and safety compliance.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly through written and verbal means.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on standard operating procedures, troubleshooting and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Nuclear Technician, Auxiliary Operator, Equipment Operator, or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory, power generation, or electricity production in nuclear environments.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and ensure quality control of nuclear testing equipment.
  • Experience with radiation monitoring and applying safety measures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI training, annotation, or validation in technical/scientific domains.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration and data sharing.
