Join micro1's customer's team as a Mechanical Engineering AI Trainer, where your expertise will shape the next generation of AI tools in mechanical engineering. In this innovative role, you will blend hands-on technical experience with your keen communication skills to develop and enhance AI models that support engineering design, testing, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to train and evaluate AI systems focused on mechanical design, manufacturing, and R&D tasks.
- Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings, providing critical feedback to improve AI model accuracy.
- Develop test cases, scenarios, and datasets based on real-world mechanical systems assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering staff and AI developers to identify gaps in machine understanding and enhance technical datasets.
- Review project instructions to simulate common engineering challenges for AI learning modules.
- Translate complex mechanical concepts into clear, actionable data points and documentation for AI consumption.
- Support other engineers and AI trainers on technical queries related to mechanical fabrication, testing, or system adjustments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, Technician, or similar role (e.g., Mechanical Designer, Process Technician, R&D Technician).
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to assemble and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for precision and accuracy in documentation and analysis.
- Adaptability to work in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment.
