Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe video content in Maori and English with precision, including clear timestamps.
  • Describe and interpret the emotional tone and intent of speakers within multimedia content.
  • Analyze and document grammar, tone, and conceptual meanings in both languages.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high-quality, insightful linguistic analysis and feedback.
  • Perform complex language tasks that support language preservation and cross-cultural understanding.
  • Ensure all transcriptions and analyses maintain strict confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
  • Commit at least 15 hours per week to project work and collaborative meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluent proficiency in both Maori and English, encompassing strong written and verbal communication skills.
