About the Role

This part-time remote position involves capturing high-quality first-person videos of everyday household tasks such as laundry, dishes, tidying, and basic food preparation. You must follow clear capture protocols including maintaining stable framing, good lighting, and adhering strictly to privacy rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture short, high-quality first-person videos with Oculus Quest 3.
• Maintain visible hands/arms/body with stable framing and lighting.
• Follow strict privacy rules and record without faces or identifying details.
• Accurately name, organize, and upload files with metadata.
• Perform basic troubleshooting like firmware updates and file transfers.
• Review work against SOPs and act on feedback swiftly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ownership of Oculus Quest 3 preferred, though hardware can be provided after vetting.
• Reliable smartphone or computer and strong internet connection.
• Understanding of POV capture techniques including framing and lighting.
• High attention to detail for file naming and metadata accuracy.
• Strong written communication and ability to follow detailed protocols independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data capture, content creation, and quality control.
• Willingness to learn RGB-D, IMU, and basic calibration techniques.
• Consistency with repetitive tasks and adherence to checklists.
