Join our team as a tech-savvy Generalist to help build cutting-edge datasets. In this part-time, remote role, you will record everyday home tasks using the Oculus Quest 3 following clear capture protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture short, high-quality first-person videos of common household tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying, basic food prep) with Quest 3.
• Keep hands, arms, and body clearly visible; maintain stable framing and good lighting.
• Follow strict privacy rules: record solo, avoid faces, and keep personal items off screen.
• Accurately name, organize, and upload files while completing simple metadata details.
• Perform occasional capture of RGB-D/IMU outputs with provided training.
• Carry out light troubleshooting such as storage checks, firmware/app updates, and file transfers.
• Review work against SOPs/checklists and provide quick, concise asynchronous feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ownership of Oculus Quest 3 preferred; hardware provided for strong candidates.
• A recent smartphone/computer and reliable internet for file transfers.
• Understanding of POV capture including framing, lighting, and retakes.
• High attention to detail for file naming, metadata entry, and privacy compliance.
• Clear written communication and the ability to follow detailed protocols independently.

Preferred & Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with data capture, content creation, metadata schemas, or QC checklists.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn RGB-D, IMU, and basic calibration techniques.
• Consistent performance in repetitive tasks and strong checklist discipline.
• Device skills in Quest 3 recording/export, storage management, firmware updates, and troubleshooting.
