The Fullstack Engineer FinTech Role
We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer FinTech to spearhead the design and development of next-generation financial technology systems. This pivotal role bridges product development, infrastructure, and applied engineering, focusing on creating reliable, scalable applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications utilizing Python, React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs, harnessing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement responsive and maintainable frontend interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Uphold stringent standards for system reliability, security, and data integrity, especially within financial systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, participate in code reviews, and advocate for engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly through documentation, code reviews, and team discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong backend development expertise with Python and Node.js.
- Advanced frontend development proficiency with React.js and Next.js.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or maintaining financial or fintech systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Redis, and various caching strategies.
- Experience working with microservices architectures and modern testing frameworks such as Jest, PyTest, or Cypress.
