Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical insights for the development and refinement of AI models supporting emergency medical decision-making.
• Evaluate, annotate, and review clinical data to ensure accuracy and relevance to real-world emergency scenarios.
• Collaborate with AI developers, data scientists, and other healthcare professionals to align AI outputs with best practices in emergency medicine.
• Assess and validate AI recommendations for immediate recognition, evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of patients.
• Contribute to the creation and review of medical guidelines and protocols integrated within AI systems.
• Direct simulated emergency cases to ensure AI applications mirror the complexities of actual emergency department workflows.
• Offer feedback on AI performance to continuously improve its reliability and clinical impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Board-certified (or eligible) Emergency Medicine Physician (MD or DO) with active clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to make rapid, high-stakes medical decisions under pressure.
• Deep understanding of acute care, stabilization, and patient disposition in emergency settings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
• Comfort with technology and data-driven tools in a clinical context.
• Experience in training, supervision, or direct leadership of emergency medical staff.
• Ability to critically appraise medical data and guidelines for integration into AI systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in AI/ML projects or medical informatics.
