Job Summary

Join micro1's customer team as an Electronics Engineer, where you will design and develop innovative electronic components, software, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications. This role is uniquely positioned to help train advanced artificial intelligence, leveraging your expertise across multiple tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, model, and simulate electronic circuits and systems using industry-standard software such as Ansoft Simplorer, Cadence PSpice, and Synopsys Saber.
  • Develop and document electronic hardware and software solutions for a range of applications including industrial automation, medical devices, and scientific instrumentation.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot complex electronics engineering problems to ensure technical adequacy and optimal performance.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design tools, including MATLAB, AutoCAD, and CATIA, to create precise schematics and 3D models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and customers to discuss technical requirements, project specifications, and innovative solutions.
  • Direct or coordinate the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and modification of electronic systems and products.
  • Contribute to the training of AI systems by providing expert insights, technical documentation, and relevant engineering datasets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Ansoft Simplorer, Cadence PSpice, Synopsys Saber, MATLAB, AutoCAD, Dassault Systemes CATIA, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with digital design tools including Xilinx ISE, SystemVerilog, and LabVIEW.
  • Strong programming abilities in FORTRAN, C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic.NET, and React.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering technical presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for cross-functional collaboration and AI training initiatives.
  • Ability to evaluate technical work for effectiveness, compatibility, and compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote and multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI/ML training projects or data annotation for technical applications.
  • Past involvement in customer-facing engineering or solution deployment roles.
  • Advanced certification or training in electronics design or systems engineering.
