About the Role
Join our customer’s team as a Detectives and Criminal Investigators, leveraging your expertise in crime scene technology and database management to train next-generation AI. This remote role combines traditional investigative skills with digital tools for groundbreaking advancements in criminal investigation technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Check victims for vital signs and assess crime scenes.
- Obtain and document factual statements using recording devices.
- Secure crime scenes, collect evidence, and prevent interference.
- Maintain investigational records and prepare detailed reports.
- Utilize databases like NCIC and DataWorks Plus Digital CrimeScene.
- Provide data-driven insights to train AI systems.
- Manage digital images and assist in scene reconstruction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency with NCIC and DataWorks Plus Digital CrimeScene.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access, MySQL, Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Design 3D Eyewitness, and digital image management.
- Competency in ESRI ArcView and other GIS tools.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and detail-oriented skills.
- Understanding of investigative protocols and evidence preservation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in training or consulting on AI-driven investigative tools.
- Advanced certification in forensic technology or criminal justice.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
