About the Role

Join our customer's team as a Creative AI Trainer at micro1 and shape the next generation of visual AI. Leverage your professional creative practice to teach AI models how excellent visual work is made. This role sits at the intersection of creative execution and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and curate gold-standard visual assets (photography, video, analog artwork, compositing).
  • Develop moodboards, storyboards, and style briefs to define tone, composition, lighting, and color.
  • Deliver expert creative critiques of AI-generated visuals using artist-first language.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to define visual data requirements and high-quality training datasets.
  • Communicate in written and verbal forms via creative briefs, feedback notes, and video walkthroughs.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on visual storytelling, brand voice, and aesthetic consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional experience in photography, art direction, graphic design, cinematography, illustration, fine arts, motion design, or similar creative fields.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing mastery in composition, lighting, color, and storytelling.
  • Hands-on proficiency in at least one creative production pipeline such as printmaking, digital painting, or post-production.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated visual judgment and creative tools proficiency.
  • Experience working remotely in cross-functional, technical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a North American or European institution.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent analog workflows.
  • Background in educational content creation, tutorials, or workshops; generative AI tools experience is a plus.
