Overview
Join micro1's team as a Creative AI Trainer and shape the next generation of visual AI. Leverage your professional creative practice to teach AI models how excellent visual work is made, blending asset creation with deep critique.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and curate gold-standard visual assets including photography, video, analog artwork, and compositing.
- Develop moodboards, storyboards, and style briefs for tone, composition, lighting, and color direction.
- Deliver expert creative critiques of AI-generated visuals using artist-first language.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to define visual data requirements and establish high-quality training datasets.
- Produce creative briefs, feedback notes, and video walkthroughs for cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in a creative discipline such as photography, art direction, graphic design, cinematography, illustration, fine arts, motion design, 3D art, or color theory. A strong portfolio that demonstrates mastery in composition, lighting, color, and storytelling is essential. Proficiency in creative production pipelines like printmaking, digital painting, or post-production is required along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a North American or European institution, familiarity with industry standard tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve), and experience in educational content creation or generative AI tools.
