Join micro1's customer's team as a Clinician Expert - Medical Doctor and play a pivotal role at the intersection of clinical practice and artificial intelligence. You'll leverage your clinical expertise to curate, evaluate, and annotate medical datasets while collaborating with a dynamic team to enhance AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate, preprocess, and annotate diverse datasets to support the development and refinement of AI and machine learning models.
• Provide expert clinical feedback on model outputs, driving iterative improvements in accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish and achieve robust training objectives.
• Evaluate and monitor AI model performance, contributing strategic recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Ensure all processes uphold the highest standards of data security, patient privacy, and ethical compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, literature, and evidence-based protocols to inform model training.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through both written reports and verbal discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active clinical experience for the last 3 to 5+ years.
• Active medical license (MD, DO) or equivalent with good standing.
• Current clinical practice experience, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of patient care and workflows.
• Exceptional diagnostic analysis skills across a wide spectrum of medical conditions and scenarios.
• Expertise in medicine, physiology, healthcare protocols, and clinical terminology.
• Strong background in evaluating and appraising clinical literature, formal guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ASCO, ESMO, AHA, or other specialty societies), and evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in concise, effective written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to data confidentiality, security, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI, machine learning models, or healthcare data annotation projects.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in technology-driven healthcare environments.
• Advanced degree or certification in clinical informatics or a related field.
