Job Summary
Join our dynamic core engineering team as a Backend Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling critical backend services. You will collaborate closely with our frontend, AI, and product teams, contributing to the development of high-quality code, robust system designs, and fostering clear, effective communication across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain resilient backend services using Node.js and Nest.js frameworks.
- Design and optimize high-performance PostgreSQL databases.
- Develop and scale infrastructure on AWS/GCP, including innovative serverless components.
- Implement Redis for efficient caching, message queues, and high-throughput workflows.
- Ensure the highest standards of backend performance, reliability, and security.
- Deliver clean, well-documented, and consumable APIs.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows.
- Actively participate in architecture discussions, thorough code reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, proven experience with Node.js and Nest.js in demanding production environments.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP and architecting serverless solutions.
- Practical experience integrating and utilizing Redis for various backend needs.
- Solid understanding of backend architecture principles, security protocols, and performance tuning.
- Proficient with Git/GitHub and modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of event-driven or real-time architecture patterns.
- Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems design.
