About the Role

Join micro1 as a dedicated Atmospheric Earth Marine and Space Sciences Teachers Postsecondary. In this remote role, you will shape future scientists and contribute to training cutting-edge AI by mentoring students in atmospheric, earth, marine, and space sciences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and course content at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Maintain precise records including attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Evaluate and grade assignments, exams, laboratory work, and field activities.
  • Supervise and guide research projects to foster scientific inquiry.
  • Leverage advanced software and LMS platforms for online instruction.
  • Contribute subject expertise to develop AI-driven educational tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Ansys Fluent, MatLab, IGOR Pro, Mathematica, and ESRI ArcGIS/ArcInfo.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and Golden Software Voxler.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms like Blackboard, Desire2Learn, and Sakai CLE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong digital content creation and collaborative editing abilities.
  • Ability to design and implement laboratory and field-based learning experiences.
  • Meticulous record-keeping and evaluative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience training AI or developing digital educational tools.
  • History of remote postsecondary teaching in relevant sciences.
  • Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in a related science discipline.
