Job Summary

In this part-time remote role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding AI model development through your deep knowledge of aerospace design, construction, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert input to train AI models focused on aerospace applications.
• Review and annotate technical aerospace data for AI learning.
• Translate engineering concepts into training materials and datasets.
• Communicate insights with AI developers, data scientists, and stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements in AI data collection and annotation strategies.
• Develop use cases and evaluation scenarios simulating real-world aerospace challenges.
• Support continuous improvement of AI knowledge bases by tracking industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Professional experience in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, spacecraft, or missiles.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and converting tasks to AI training data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in aerospace research and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, part-time capacity.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration and virtual communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an AI trainer, data annotator, or technology SME.
• Hands-on involvement with AI/ML applications in aerospace.
• Advanced degree or certification in aeronautics, avionics, or systems engineering.
