This position is located in Greenville, SC at the Michelin Americas Research Center (MARC) campus.
The Opportunity
Michelin, with 130 years of innovation, is seeking a Materials Pipeline Engineer to join the Research & Development Engineering team. You will work on executing test plans, performing experimental tests and material characterizations, and serve as the communication liaison between the Materials Testing lab and the Materials department.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete training on raw materials and composite material design.
- Develop innovative composite materials meeting functional specifications.
- Secure implementation of test plans and input test requests.
- Perform experimental tests and material characterizations.
- Summarize and communicate test results via reports.
- Serve as liaison between Materials Testing lab and Materials department.
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (ex. Polymer Science). Must be self-motivated with strong technical and communication skills, and a spirit of continuous learning.
