Our client is a large manufacturing/consumer goods company with business across APAC.

Job Description

As a Senior IT Manager, you will manage end-to-end application portfolio for a large consumer goods group, overseeing a critical regional function.

• Team management across HK and China.
• Own and manage the end-to-end application portfolio, including Oracle Cloud ERP, D365, B2B/B2C and digital platforms, mobile applications, integration middleware, SCM, field systems, and in-house developed solutions.
• Lead full lifecycle system implementations: requirements elicitation and validation, solution design, vendor coordination, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Business Partnering with BUs: Identify optimization opportunities and emerging technologies.
• Oversee on-premise, remote data center, and cloud infrastructure: network services, data warehouses and pipelines, storage platforms, and endpoint management.
• Govern IT risk and compliance: Work with internal teams to manage cybersecurity controls, access management, data protection, and regulatory adherence.
• Define, implement, and enforce regulations: IT policies, standard operating procedures, cybersecurity standards, and operational guidelines, while establishing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Support management in project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting activities.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the Senior IT Manager role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10-15 years experience in IT, with 6+ years in Managerial level.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex application lifecycles within large-scale organizations, preferably in FMCG or complex manufacturing/trading environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with large scale ERP e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP, D365 applications, and integration middleware.
• Solid understanding of supply chain/manufacturing operations and business workflows.
• Upbeat with the latest technologies in town to drive digitalization e.g. AI/GenAI, RPA, IoT etc.
• Extensive exposure to eCommerce platforms, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and networking.
• Practical, hands-on proficiency across Microsoft productivity tools e.g. MS Co-pilot, O365.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-regions/cross-department stakeholder groups and drive alignment on objectives and outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
