Overview of the Paid Media & SEO Specialist Role

This position is centered on managing and optimizing PPC, SEO, and AEO/GEO strategies to enhance the digital presence and generate high-quality leads. It demands collaborative efforts with marketing, technical, and content teams to boost website performance, deliver data-driven insights, and support multi-channel campaigns effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize PPC and paid social campaigns across platforms like Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, including keyword research, audience targeting, budget allocation, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
  • Lead all SEO, GEO, and AEO activities, encompassing technical improvements, comprehensive audits, competitor analysis, strategic link-building, and content optimization to significantly improve visibility and lead generation.
  • Oversee website updates and content uploads, working closely with content and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure pages are optimized for CRO, UX, and SEO.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all digital channels, maintain accurate tracking systems and dashboards, and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, product, and technical stakeholders to execute integrated campaigns, while efficiently managing workflows and external partners as required.

Profile & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in managing PPC campaigns, particularly with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of retargeting/remarketing strategies and multi-channel optimization techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in SEO, GEO, and AEO, including a deep understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page best practices.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using various Content Management System (CMS) platforms for content updates and website maintenance.
  • Confident ability to analyze data using GA4 and produce clear, actionable performance insights.
  • Highly organized, with proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
  • An eagerness and commitment to staying current with the rapidly evolving search landscape and AI-driven optimization trends.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally within the technology, SaaS, or professional services sectors.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot/Salesforce.
  • A solid understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), user journeys, and lead-generation funnels.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor website updates.
  • Experience utilizing generative AI tools for content creation or analytical tasks.

Job Offer

  • Salary: £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working model, typically 2-3 days in the office.
