INTERIM Project Manager Network Operations Center (NOC)

This is an interim, full-time project for approximately 6 months, starting immediately until the end of Q4. The role is based in Schwerin with a predominantly remote arrangement, requiring 1-2 days on-site per week.

Job Description

The INTERIM Project Manager NOC will have overall responsibility for establishing a Network Operation Center (NOC) operating on a 24/7 model. This includes:

• Steering and coordinating the project to meet defined milestones.
• Preparing, conducting, and supporting tender and bidder processes.
• Evaluating, selecting, and negotiating with potential service providers and suppliers.
• Closely coordinating with internal departments and advising on process implementation.
• Ensuring a structured handover to operational business.
• Managing stakeholders at various levels.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Several years of experience as a Project Manager in telecommunications or IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience in building or transforming a Network Operation Center (NOC) or similar operational structures.
• In-depth knowledge of tender processes and supplier/partner management.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of 24/7 operational models and associated organizational requirements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A structured, independent, and goal-oriented work approach.
