About Our Client
This role is with a renowned company, focusing on SAP CDS Views, SAP Data, Logistics, Kimball, HANA, and Analytics. This interim position starts as soon as possible and runs until December 31, 2026, with an expected workload of 3-5 days/week. The role is 100% remote.
Job Description
As an Interim Data Analytics Consultant SAP Cloud, you will be responsible for the conception of data models with a strong emphasis on logistics, utilizing SAP CDS Views, pre-configured data models based on Kimball methodologies, and local warehouse systems. You will ensure that performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability are key considerations during the modeling process. A core part of your role will involve building and further developing data models to support various reporting and analytics solutions. You will continuously document data models and structures, performing thorough tests, reviews, and validations of implemented models. Additionally, you will conceptualize and build BI-Dashboards based on internal requirements, primarily implementing them in MicroStrategy, with Power BI as an optional tool. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to align on reporting and analysis requirements will be crucial to your success.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence. Strong experience in data modeling, ideally following Kimball methodologies, is essential. Good knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA environment and practical experience with SAP CDS Views are required. You should also have hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure Cloud, along with familiarity with DBT, DataGrip, and Git. Proven experience in creating BI-Dashboards, preferably with MicroStrategy, is highly valued. A solid understanding of logistics processes within the SAP environment (e.g., EWM / TM) is also important. Experience in consulting on best practices in data modeling and knowledge of Power BI are considered desirable.
