Global IT Infrastructure & Operations Director
The Global IT Infrastructure & Operations (ITOps) Director is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of IT infrastructure and operations across the organization. This leadership role ensures that global IT services are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Michael Page is partnering with a manufacturing company that is embarking on an ambitious growth strategy, aiming to double its revenue over the next five years. Direct global IT infrastructure and operations, encompassing enterprise networking, cloud environments, server systems, data storage, disaster recovery protocols, and end-user technical support. Establish and enforce worldwide infrastructure frameworks, technical architectures, and operational best practices. Manage strategic partnerships with key technology providers and administer service agreements, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Partner with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and application development teams to enable secure and seamless infrastructure integration. Track and evaluate infrastructure metrics related to performance, uptime, and cost efficiency, providing regular reporting. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing infrastructure team distributed across global locations. Professional Background and Credentials- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a prestigious university. An MBA or equivalent from a top-tier business school is highly desirable.
- Brings over a decade of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, including a minimum of five years in a senior global leadership capacity. Must have held a comparable position in a large, top-level multinational corporation. Applicants from mid-sized firms will not be considered.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing hybrid cloud architectures, enterprise-level networking, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of ITIL frameworks, service delivery models, and operational excellence principles.
