Job Description
The Data Governance Analyst will be part of an exciting period of growth, focusing on supporting data quality, enforcing privacy standards, and facilitating data accessibility. This role involves monitoring data usage to align it with business objectives, mitigating risks, and maximising data value, all to support strategic goals and stakeholder trust. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies, and ensuring compliance with data management standards and regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to identify and address data quality issues and monitor and maintain data integrity across systems and processes. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance on data governance best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Data Governance Analyst should have a strong understanding of data governance principles. An understanding of AI governance is desirable, and experience with Alation or Purview is highly desirable. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proven experience collaborating with diverse teams to address data challenges effectively.
