Position Overview

The Senior Manager IT Portfolio & Program Management at Michael Baker International is responsible for overseeing IT programs, coordinating project planning and execution, and ensuring delivery according to defined outcomes. This role manages a portfolio of IT projects, leads cross-functional teams, and maintains operational efficiency in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee program and project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
  • Collaborate with business units to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Plan and coordinate multiple projects for on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Manage resources, contracts, budgets, and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Communicate program status and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement ERP and CRM systems, support M&A integration, and deploy digital twin technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management or equivalent experience is required. PMP certification is preferred along with 5-10+ years of experience in managing projects/programs and 3+ years in M&A. Candidates should have strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, as well as broad knowledge of IT systems and processes.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementation.
  • Experience with CRM implementations.

Compensation

The estimated salary range is $125,000 to $175,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
