The Project Manager - Curriculum Development will be instrumental in managing internal production timelines for curriculum development, ensuring projects stay on track and adjusting schedules as needed. This role involves meticulous maintenance of project management tools like Smartsheet and Asana to ensure visibility and alignment across all workstreams. You will support sprint planning, coordinate with clients on timelines, and actively monitor progress to identify and address any bottlenecks or risks.

  • Collaboration & Documentation: Ensure accurate linking, versioning, and sharing of materials with clients, including all required rubrics and supporting documents. Maintain documentation standards and ensure teams have access to correct materials, templates, and tools.
  • Quality Assurance & Review Coordination: Hold reviewers accountable for proper channels, documentation, and feedback systems. Regularly review production rubrics to monitor quality and completion, and track, compile, and organize all client feedback.

What You'll Bring

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years of professional project management experience, ideally within curriculum development, instructional design production, publishing, or adjacent fields, is required. Demonstrated expertise in project management systems such as Smartsheet, Asana, Airtable, Jira, or Monday.com is essential, along with experience managing complex, multi-step workflows with multiple stakeholders.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience with progress monitoring, dashboards, and/or data visualization.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to shifting timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort holding others accountable to deadlines and processes.
  • Comfort managing up to more senior teammates on timelines.

Preferred experience includes curriculum production, instructional publishing, or large-scale print workflows, familiarity with K–12 or K–5 education contexts, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams (designers, writers, editors, content reviewers).
