Role Overview

The Bilingual Curriculum Director will lead MGT’s Bilingual Team in designing and developing high-quality K–5 curriculum products for Emergent Bilingual students. This role focuses on creating, translating, transadapting, and translanguaging curriculum to align with state standards and English language proficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Leadership: Set vision and oversee Spanish-language curriculum development.
  • Alignment & Quality: Ensure integration of bilingual materials and best practices.
  • Assessment Integration: Design assessments incorporating multimodal demonstrations and scaffolds.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a team of bilingual subject matter experts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, education leaders, and external partners.
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze performance data to refine curriculum strategies.
  • Innovation & Tools: Integrate technology and AI tools for improved efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all curriculum meets educational and accreditation standards.
  • Rapid Review & Feedback: Provide draft feedback within 2–3 days for quality assurance.

What You’ll Bring

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Bilingual Education or related field with significant experience in K-5 curriculum design. You must be fluent in Spanish and possess a deep understanding of bilingual education methodologies. People management, project management, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
