Maxey Trailer Sales and Truck Fitting is a trusted provider of high-quality utility trailers serving customers across Northern Colorado. We take pride in offering excellent products and personalized service. We are looking for a customer-focused Sales Representative to drive growth at our Fort Collins location.
Position Overview
The Trailer Sales Representative will greet and assist customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and guide buyers through the selection and purchasing process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in selecting trailers.
- Build customer relationships with expert product knowledge.
- Prepare accurate quotes, sales documents, and financing paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and trailer displays.
- Track inventory and coordinate with vendors for proper displays.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Provide post-sale customer support and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments for trailer preparation and delivery.

Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site role, working 5 days per week (including some Saturdays).
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive, RV, equipment, or similar industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must meet Colorado requirements for a licensed Motor Vehicle Sales License.
- Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn trailer specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
