The Job
The Principal Data Architect DevOps & Enterprise will define and lead the evolution of enterprise architecture across all Technology, Digital, and Data (TDD) domains. This role drives a shift from traditional COTS integration toward agile, cloud-native, API-driven, and AI-enabled designs. It sets strategic direction for MGM’s ecosystem covering applications, infrastructure, data, and security, aligning solutions with business priorities.
The Day-to-day
- Define and champion the enterprise architecture vision and framework.
- Develop and govern a modernization roadmap using cloud-native, API-first designs.
- Lead solution reviews ensuring alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for scalable enterprise capabilities.
- Collaborate with executives to translate business priorities into actionable strategies.
- Mentor senior architects and transition from legacy systems to modern practices.
The Ideal Candidate
Possesses 15+ years in DevOps, cloud, and enterprise architecture with a strong background in digital and data transformation. A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is required (Master’s preferred). Must demonstrate mastery in infrastructure, applications, data, and security domains, with experience in cloud-native platforms, AI/ML solutions, and compliance frameworks like PCI, NIST, and GDPR.
