MGM Healthcare is immediately hiring a Maintenance Assistant (Painter)! This role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Essential Functions
- Apply paint to walls, ceilings, trim, and furniture using rollers and brushes, ensuring proper surface preparation through washing, sanding, and priming.
- Maintain painting equipment in good working order and ensure all supplies are cleaned and stored properly.
- Manage paint inventory, ensuring adequate supply for projects, and proper storage/disposal of paint.
- Assist in the general upkeep of the center's physical plant and grounds.
- Perform repairs as directed by the supervisor.
- Collect and dispose of refuse.
- Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors.
- Ensure prompt snow and ice removal.
- Contribute to the overall maintenance of the physical plant.
Requirements
- Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, and routine preventative care of HVAC systems.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to receive and understand verbal and written directions.
- Availability for on-call emergency repairs.
