Located in Toronto’s Junction neighborhood at 213 Sterling Road near key transit options, our office boasts a walking score of 100. This position requires presence in the Toronto office or project site 4-5 days per week with occasional work from home.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Construction Project Manager, you will lead large, multi-sector construction projects as an owner’s representative. Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing complex capital projects in Healthcare, Education, and Critical Environments sectors.
- Leading project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Overseeing budgeting, financial controls, risk mitigation, and quality management.
- Handling contracting, procurement, scheduling, and change management.
- Managing team leadership and client communications.

MGAC seeks candidates with a proactive, analytical mindset and 15+ years of project management experience. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, OAA or P.Eng License, and PMP Certification.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include:
- Defining project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Establishing robust governance and decision-making processes.
- Managing budgets, schedules, risks, and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinating design, RFI processes, and trade management across disciplines.
- Preparing comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
