Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy, the Therapy Operations Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to keep departmental operations accurate and efficient.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical support to the clinical team.
- Scan, copy, and distribute completed paperwork.
- Coordinate care with other agencies.
- Manage Docusign tasks including sending, QA’ing, and uploading documents.
- Support Kantime by plotting SOCs, adding frequencies, and scheduling.
- Maintain clinician/client profiles and manage parent portal updates.
- Run reports, handle journal notes, and manage filing systems.
- Track therapy re-evaluation/follow-up forms, new cert periods, patient admits/discharges, and supervisory visits.
- Provide clinic record support by liaising with doctors’ offices for required signatures.
- Offer excellent customer service to clients and external employees, including obtaining Home Exercise Plans and History & Physicals.
- Assist with word-processing, secretarial tasks, and transposing information to plans of care.
- Perform other delegated duties from the Director of Therapy and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ year experience in a clinical environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
