What You Will Do
- Develop and embed best-in-class data governance processes, frameworks, and expertise within Adaptfy, creating the foundation for SHV Holdings’ businesses.
- Consult and collaborate with SHV Holdings’ subsidiaries to help them establish, mature, and align their governance initiatives with Adaptfy’s methodologies.
- Interpret and operationalize data privacy and protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Act as a bridge to build strong relationships and promote a shared governance vision across Adaptfy and SHV Holdings.
- Conduct governance maturity assessments and gap analyses, creating tailored roadmaps for SHV businesses.
- Develop, update, and promote group-wide policies and standards.
- Facilitate Data Governance Councils and collaborative working groups.
- Oversee data quality audits and provide remediation recommendations.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement programs.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Outstanding communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts for all audiences.

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in data governance/data management, incl. 3+ years senior/consulting in group/multi-entity orgs.
- Experience leading change management, training, and engagement across multiple businesses.

- Influence, negotiation, and project management skills to unify Adaptfy and SHV businesses.
Nice to have:
- Professional certifications such as DAMA CDMP, CIPP, or equivalent (highly valued).
- Expertise in data modeling, architecture, metadata management, and master data management within complex organizations.
- Hands-on experience with leading governance and quality tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, IBM InfoSphere).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Proficiency with SQL, data integration platforms, and BI/reporting tools (a plus).
