Head of Digital Service Development

Introduction

We are seeking a Head of Digital Service Development, to join our Crusher Wears Business Line team at Metso. In this role, you will enhance our customer service by leading the development and deployment of our digital solution strategy and innovating new solutions and service concepts. You will be responsible for steering the individual development projects, managing some of them, coordinating deployment, as well as developing the related business and solution architecture in line with the business and product line requirements.

The role is highly emphasizing commercial impact, value-based selling enablement, and translating digital initiatives into concrete business growth actions across market areas.

The work involves interacting and coordinating with several stakeholders, such as product lines, market areas, distribution management, supply chain, and our digital and IT teams.

We are primarily looking for someone based in Finland, Espoo or Tampere.

What You’ll Do

• Leading the development and deployment of Crusher Wears digital solution portfolio for both the Aggregates and Minerals segments
• Developing business and solution architecture matching our digital vision
• Development of new services and service concepts to support our profitable growth
• Ensuring digital initiatives translate into measurable adoption and business results in markets
• Driving initiatives to strengthen Crusher Wears commercial capabilities globally, including value selling approaches, and competence development across market areas

Who You Are

• Innovative development-oriented individual, with hands-on experience in getting things done
• Excellent business and commercial understanding, with the ability to continuously improve existing solutions
• Ability to connect strategy, technology, and commercial execution into practical steps that move the business forward.
• Interest and capability for concept development and experience in developing digital offerings
• Prior experience and understanding in Mining and Aggregates businesses, including knowledge about crushers and crusher wears
• Customer-focused mindset and experience working in a service-oriented environment
• Full working proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
