Located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, this full-service, multi-department facility offers general practice, specialty services, 24/7 emergency care, boarding, grooming, daycare, and rehabilitation.
What You’ll Do
- Assist doctors and nurses with patient care and procedures.
- Perform daily husbandry for hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and cleaning.
- Properly restrain patients using fear-free handling techniques.
- Prepare and run in-house laboratory tests such as CBC, Chemistry, and UA.
- Stock treatment and exam areas while maintaining hospital cleanliness and managing laundry.
- Assist in surgery by setting up and cleaning surgical areas, wrapping instruments, and supporting anesthesia recovery.
- Support outpatient appointments by preparing rooms, restraining for diagnostics, and cleaning between patients.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and assist with daily checklists.
- Provide overall support to ensure smooth daily hospital operations.
Schedule & Compensation
This full-time role offers flexible scheduling with typical hours between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, including some weekends. Shifts may include four 10-hour days per week. Hourly compensation ranges from $16.00 to $22.00, commensurate with experience.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting, strong animal handling skills, a calm and compassionate demeanor, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills.
