About the Role

The Tendering Electrical Engineer at Methodius Ltd will work on major Power, Renewable and Substation project tenders. This role involves managing all electrical engineering requirements for tender submissions while ensuring compliance with client/Eirgrid/ESB specifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, specifications, drawings and calculations.
• Manage electrical engineering deliverables for tender submissions.
• Identify risks and mitigate issues in tender processes.
• Coordinate with civil, cable, and OHL engineering teams.
• Work with equipment vendors and design consultants.
• Provide input on tender program and engineering budget.
• Maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Participate in business development and client liaison activities.
• Support operations and project teams during handover of a successful tender.

Experience and Skills

Candidates are expected to have a degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years industry experience in substations, high & medium voltage, and renewables projects. Experience with tender processes, AutoCAD, and ePlan is essential. Familiarity with ESB/Eirgrid specifications is an advantage. Strong communication, client-facing, and organisational skills are required.
