Overview

The Operational Leadership Development Engineer role at MetalTek will take you from the office onto the shop floor. You will participate in a 2.5-year Leadership Development Rotation with assignments in various manufacturing and support departments.

Rotation Details

You will gain exposure to business operations, products, customers, and manufacturing processes. The final year includes 4 months as an operations analyst assessing and improving department operations, followed by a supervisory role for the rest of the year.

  • Hands-on involvement on the shop floor
  • Exposure to multiple manufacturing and support departments
  • Conducting operations analysis and process improvements
  • Supervisory responsibilities after the analysis phase

Requirements

  • Four year technical/engineering degree in Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong motivation, energy, persistence, and discipline
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical intelligence and mechanical aptitude preferred
  • US Citizenship required
