About the Technical Investigator Role at Meta
Meta Integrity Operations protects people and businesses by reducing harm and abuse on Meta’s platforms. The Surface Integrity Operations team focuses on mitigating fraud and abuse by conducting technical network investigations. In this role, you will identify, mitigate, and prevent fraud while influencing operations, product, and policy decisions through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Apply quantitative and qualitative skills to inform strategy.
- Investigate complex abuse cases and attribute responsible individuals.
- Develop and implement online and offline enforcement strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
- Contribute to strategic projects and solve integrity challenges at scale.
- Prototype and teach novel investigative techniques.
- Identify and build automation solutions for operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years in an analytics role with problem solving and technical systems.
- Experience using analytics to break down complex problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or statistical software such as R.
- Skilled in explaining technical concepts and analysis to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in online operations or trust & safety in the fraud domain.
- Advanced degree with a quantitative focus or equivalent experience.
- Experience presenting complex data insights to leadership.
