About the Role

The Security Policy Manager at Meta is responsible for identifying, tracking, and countering adversarial threat actors who misuse the platform. Work includes understanding risks, crafting policies for acceptable platform use, and building detection and enforcement regimes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with policy, legal, investigative, and product teams to analyze emerging regulations, litigations, and public concerns.

  • Partner with global product and data science teams to design risk measurement systems.
  • Analyze and improve existing controls against fraud, scams, and inauthentic behavior.
  • Support engagements with regulators, policymakers, and industry partners.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for security policy across multiple teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in cybersecurity, data science, or public policy.
  • Experience communicating complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Understanding of global cybersecurity standards and current threats.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in information security or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Hive, and Spark.
  • Proven skills in data interpretation, metric development, and consensus building.
