About the Role

The Research Program Manager, Governance at Meta builds and scales research compliance programs. You will work with Researchers, Legal, and Privacy teams to design, execute, and socialize research policies. This role defines, establishes, and maintains global operational and company-wide compliance programs while collaborating with cross-functional partners and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Proactively manage expectations, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Support and execute special projects that drive clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate with Global Research Operations and related teams.
  • Facilitate relationships between teams and resolve blocking issues.
  • Lead preparation for program reviews with documentation and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of project or program management experience, including 3+ years with UX Research, Market Research or Product Design. Demonstrated ability to work with legal, privacy, policy teams and leadership. Proven communication skills to interact with researchers and stakeholders. Ability to work under ambiguity and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with task force style initiatives, research policy & compliance, and cross-company horizontal initiatives.

Compensation

Base compensation approximately $142,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
