About the Regulatory Escalations Specialist Role

At Meta, every day people use our family of apps to connect, discover, and build communities. As a Regulatory Escalations Specialist, you will join the Global Operations team within Global Response Operations. This is a data-driven role focused on reducing bad experiences for users, regulators, business partners, and advertisers by enforcing Meta’s policies and ensuring quality and efficiency in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and enforce Meta’s policies including Community Standards and Advertising Policies.
  • Respond to escalated cases with high quality, accuracy, and speed.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Sales, Product, and Workforce Strategy.
  • Optimize and automate processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and disseminate business intelligence and emerging trends.
  • Handle graphic and potentially objectionable content when necessary.
  • Work on a shift basis including some weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in online operations, escalations, or similar environment.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort in reviewing sensitive and graphic content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology or social media industries.
