Protective Intelligence Analyst at Meta
Meta is seeking a full-time Protective Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Executive Protection Team. This team specializes in intelligence-related tasks including investigations, threat and risk assessments, travel and event risk assessments, executive protection support, and operational methods. As an analyst, you will conduct thorough threat assessments and intelligence analysis to ensure the safety and security of Meta’s executives. You will also lead and manage projects for cross-functional internal clients across headquarters and regional offices, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization to deliver actionable intelligence and effective risk mitigation strategies.
Protective Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities
- Work on a global team of protective intelligence analysts and program leads assessing real world threats to Meta leaders and Board of Directors.
- Provide comprehensive analysis on potential threats.
- Deliver Protective Intelligence briefings to executives and/or stakeholders on threat findings and risk trends.
- Develop analytical risk assessments highlighting gaps in current detection processes for identifying risk to leaders.
- Gather and analyze data to facilitate improvements in methodologies, tools, and techniques, enabling the team to scale and optimize operations to mitigate potential risk.
- Proactively identify important problems and solutions that impact longer-term strategic objectives.
- Follow company procedures and processes as they relate to Global Security best practices and the handling of confidential information.
- Be able to flex work schedule, with some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel to regional and global offices and events annually.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant work experience in risk intelligence and/or investigations.
- Experience in data analysis and subject-matter research, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of leading and compiling complex risk assessments.
- Experience in working with non-security teams to develop programmatic enhancements that result in comprehensive risk management strategies.
- Proven track record of working within a global arena.
- Proven track record to work with highly confidential information.
- Proven effectiveness in drafting and presenting to different target audiences.
- Highly organized, responsive, and able to demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Intelligence briefing experience.
- Prior security, investigative, or analytical leadership experience.
