About the Role

The Global Operations Integrity Operations Team at Meta is dedicated to fostering a safe environment for Meta communities by providing exceptional support, education, and care to users worldwide. This team focuses on preventing online and real-world harm by developing fast, scalable support systems for safety incidents and by collaborating on cross-functional initiatives.

Integrity Operations aims to improve product health and user understanding through direct support and scalable solutions. Team members are passionate about solving user issues and advocating for the Facebook and Instagram communities. This role requires an influencer who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible platform experience.

Meta is seeking an experienced, self-starting Project Manager, Integrity Operations with a passion for mitigating real-world harm and protecting the community. Project managers deliver qualitative and quantitative insights into user behavior to drive prevention and detection solutions at scale. By working cross-functionally, the team identifies and pursues areas for process and product improvement, enhancing community protection. A focus on decision quality ensures accountability for actions. This role involves close collaboration with partners across Engineering, Policy, and other Meta teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Project Manager, Integrity Operations Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, collaborating with global cross-functional teams to implement next-generation community experiences through process, policy, and product improvements.
  • Manage and improve day-to-day operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Analyze data to identify user trends and malicious behavior, suggesting recommendations to improve operations.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems.
  • Lead investigations and resolve escalated issues concerning potentially abusive content or real-world threats.
  • Help create scalable policies and processes to solve complex business problems and ensure community safety.
  • Build effective cross-functional partnerships to develop superior solutions for the community and users.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of integrity issues and their impact on the community.
  • Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos, writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material.

Please note: This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content, including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, such as child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, technology, management consulting, or equivalent environment.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a role involving strategic/analytical initiatives (project management, consulting experience, data analysis, or technical systems) and/or customer operations.
  • Experience communicating with a variety of audiences, including engineering and technical teams.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing projects end-to-end across various stakeholders and functions.
  • Demonstrable experience using sound judgment and exhibiting grace under pressure.
  • Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working with data tools such as SQL, SAS, and data visualization (e.g., Tableau) tools.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, e.g., Python, R, SQL.
  • Avid user of Meta's platform of products.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
