About the Role

Meta's Product Security team is seeking an experienced hacker who enjoys uncovering weaknesses and crafting creative solutions to eliminate them. Your skills will form the foundation of security initiatives that protect over two billion users and support product teams by providing web, mobile, and native code security expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Security Reviews: Perform manual design and implementation reviews of products such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Portal, and more.
  • Developer Guidance: Provide education to developers to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Automated Analysis: Build static and dynamic analysis automation and secure frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience finding vulnerabilities in interpreted languages.
  • Knowledge of secure code development and common exploit mitigations.
  • Coding and scripting in one or more general purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PHP, Ruby, Python secure code development.
  • Contributions to the security community through research or bug bounties.
  • Experience creating software that supports security processes.
