About the Role

Meta's Product Security team is seeking an experienced hacker who derives purpose by revealing potential weaknesses and crafting creative solutions to eliminate them. In this role as the Product Security Engineer Technical Lead, you will provide critical security expertise to engineering and product teams across web, mobile, and native platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual design and implementation reviews for Meta products.
  • Provide developer guidance to prevent code vulnerabilities.
  • Build automated analysis tools and secure frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience finding vulnerabilities in interpreted languages.
  • Expertise in secure code development and common exploit mitigations.
  • Coding and scripting proficiency in one or more general purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with interpreted languages (PHP, Ruby, Python).
  • Active contributions to the security community.
  • Proven experience in building software for security processes.
