Product Security Engineer Native

About the Role

Meta's Product Security team is seeking an experienced hacker who derives purpose in revealing potential weaknesses and crafting creative solutions to eliminate them. In this role, your skills will safeguard the security and privacy of over two billion people. You will support engineering and product teams with expertise in web, mobile, or native code security.

Responsibilities

• Security Reviews: Perform manual design and implementation reviews of products and services within the Meta ecosystem such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and Portal.
• Developer Guidance: Provide guidance and education to developers, helping prevent vulnerabilities.
• Automated Analysis & Secure Frameworks: Build automation tools and frameworks with engineering teams to scale security consistently across products.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years finding vulnerabilities in interpreted languages
• Knowledge of secure code development best practices
• Experience with exploiting common security vulnerabilities
• Coding and scripting proficiency in one or more general purpose languages

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security vulnerability discovery and secure coding in C, C++
• Contributions to the security community (public research, blogging, presentations, bug bounty)
• Experience developing software that enables security processes
