As a Product Designer at Meta, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our technologies, ensuring they are valuable, intuitive, and crafted with the highest standards of execution. Your involvement will span the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptual brainstorming for new product innovations to fine-tuning user interfaces before launch. We expect you to leverage your full spectrum of product design, interaction design, and visual design expertise, alongside contributing to high-level strategic discussions with product and executive partners.

Product Designer Responsibilities

• Complete projects focusing on whole features within a well-defined domain.
• Design user flows and experiences that are remarkably simple and elegant across our supported platforms.
• Create new experiences or layouts that either evolve existing visual systems or establish new ones.
• Provide and actively seek feedback from fellow designers to continuously elevate our quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content strategists to iterate on and oversee the user experience from initial concept to successful launch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience designing software products, with a strong emphasis on user experience, interaction, and visual design to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrated experience using research and data insights to inform product strategy.
• Strategic product thinking combined with effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with various prototyping tools and the ability to create low-fidelity mockups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience showcasing a complete end-to-end design process across multiple projects, including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Experience in connecting your design work with other related initiatives throughout the company.
