About the Role

Meta seeks a highly motivated and well-organised team player to join our growing European Privacy and Data Policy team. In this role as Privacy and Data Policy Manager, you will work on strategic engagement and outreach with privacy and data policy stakeholders in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor data policy issues affecting Meta in Ireland and nearby regions.
  • Analyse legislative and regulatory proposals on privacy, data, and related technology issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to draft submissions and engagement plans.
  • Develop proactive strategies and initiatives to address policy challenges.
  • Engage and build relationships with policymakers, academics, NGOs and other stakeholders.
  • Represent Meta at meetings and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 6–8 years of professional experience in a public policy role, particularly in privacy, data policy, or related technology fields.
  • Experience in managing strategic outreach with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to navigate cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple project timelines.
